(Former Braces owners) Are braces worth that smile?

I got mine tightened today and the orthodontist put springs in my mouth to try and push my teeth apart... It REALLY hurts! so my grill is... were the braces worth the smile you have in a minute?
Invisalign...DO or DONT?
Answers:    Oh darling, I remember the pain of have my braces tightened and yeah, it bloody hurts! But it is totally worth it, trust me! Your teeth will look fabulous when you get the braces off. I know it sucks, but to put it into perspective, conjure up how much childbirth hurts! So be brave, deal with it, fuss and moan to whoever will listen (I did, all the time!) and look forward to your gorgeous smile when the braces come off :)

I have an idea that in some cases they are. There's this girl I know whose parents can't afford braces for her and her teeth stick out all over the place. She negotiations a little differently because of it and I think she at smallest used to get teased give or take a few her teeth.
Now, in my case, I have a big overbite, so I had to wear this contraption for a year before I get braces. I think that was worth it because in a minute my jaw isn't back so far. But my braces I don't conjecture were completely necessary. I'm glad I have them, but my teeth weren't too bad. My teeth to the right and left of my top front teeth be crooked (one still is a little, but we've given up on being competent to fix that...it's not really noticeable). Anyway, other than that, I had a few other teeth that weren't really that crooked, but they still said I needed braces. I don't devise I needed them, but it didn't hurt too much, so I didn't mind them, other than things I couldn't eat!
So, I consider it just depends on the situation.
