Omg getting teeth pulled today and sooooooo SCARED?
ok so i've like had really unpromising experiences with my teeth. when i was younger i have to get 9 of my baby teeth pulled (at different times). but when i get them pulled it hurt and one time i bled so much that i went through like a unbroken roll of gauze and another time i even threw up but now i have to bring back two more teeth pulled for braces then 2 weeks later i own to get another two teeth pulled (all secondary teeth). in a minute i am TERRIFIED and constantly thinking about it. i need comfort is it usually that painful??
Don't worry, I have 2 teeth pulled last september then another 2 surrounded by november. I was terrified and get myself so worked up because I didn't know what it would be like (i'm 18 and dentist said he had never see anything like it). Then I realised it wasn't that bad and the second time be fine.
The injections are a bit painful but after that you feel zilch atall when they pull the teeth out. It hurts more after when the anaesthetic starts to wear off, and it feel a little disgusting too, but you know it's all over by this time and it's economically worth it in the end!
Just muse about the long term result of a great smile, and squeeze someone's foot, I nearly crushed the nurse's fingers! =D but it's not that bad! Good luck hope I helped!
The pain is far smaller quantity than you're imagining it to be it feels similar to a little stab in the gums really. The gum may bleed after ward due to open hole (which usually stings worse than the tooth pulling) Just don't let it seize to you. It's the same with needles family are afraid of the pain but when you have an injection it feel petty to what you imagined. I too am terrified of the dentist so I get it but it is true that yor apprehension makes it worse try to relax and it will only hurt for a minute.
dont worry im a dental nurse and they numb u up so much it cant hurt plus the anesthetic stops the bleeding so much too. it will be over formerly u no it just grab someones foot or even the nurses!
all right you have to know that they are going to put novicane on it so you dont have to verbs about it hurting if they dont put novicane on then walk to a different dentist Dont be scared.. be brave
all they do is put 2-3 needles within your mouth, then get these rusty antiquated things and yank your teeth out, and THEN all you can appetite is blood!
its really yuck
Answers: You were much younger afterwards, and a lot more apprehensive about your own body and adults doing things to you. You are elder, more mature and can realize that if this procedure were highly painful, so many society wouldn't have it done.
You will be given N20 which will relax you completely, then your tissue will be numbed beside a topical and the anesthetic will be administered slowly which will anesthetize the teeth completely and immediately. After the first two seconds of the injection you won't discern the rest and you won't feel any others that may be given if needed. All you will feel is some pushing pressure and hear some popping or crackling clamour.
Over the years I've seen many patients who be beside themselves with worry over their next extractions for orthodontics. I've seen just as plentiful patients after wards, that said they couldn't believe that's all in attendance was to it and were humiliated at how they behaved and worried over this.
Try to relax, you will be fine and your dentist will make sure you hold a pain free dental procedure.
dont worry about that you'll draw from over it! everybody experience that. just relax and the dentist will take perfect care of you during the process dont worry im a dental nurse and they numb u up so much it cant hurt plus the anesthetic stops the bleeding so much too. it will be over formerly u no it just grab someones foot or even the nurses!

most pain at the dentist is caused by the anticipation of agony...just relax. Don't worry, I have 2 teeth pulled last september then another 2 surrounded by november.
