Tongue sensitivity!!?

Does anyone know why a tongue would suddenly become very sensitive to the mildest of spice? I've always have a normal tongue but for the past 2 yrs there's be a major change within the texture of my tongue. It has lots of slits and cuts in it and it become very sensitive. The only change that have occured for me is that I had to progress on an antidepressant for about a year, also about 4 yrs ago, I get 2 front dental crowns although they don't seem to be giving me any other problems. By the way I'm 36 and I don't smoke.
Answers:    antidepressant meds can motivation people to have dry mouth, thus resulting contained by dry tongue, thereby causing the change within appearance of your tongue and your heighten sensitivity.
