I Want More Arm Muscle!?
Hi... well i am 19 and i have 10 Pound dumbells. I know i know it's a short time... i do 4 reps of 20 in each arm. surrounded by several ways... do you guys think i can some arm muscle. with these... and i enjoy another problem.. with this.. i get bored while doing them.. how do you preserve the motivacion up..?
ps what dumbels should i get 15 or 20? thanks
If you honestly want more arm muscle, you gotta do more than that... try starting at about 25 pounds and work your track up... you just have to work at it...
The plea you get bored is probably because your doing smaller weights...
So far it did you no good:so you lost your motivation big time.
You stipulation to use heavier ones.
And a tip:go swim the breaststroke a few times a week:gives immense arm muscles.
And shoulders and chest too.
Ever seen swimmers?

your 19 and only lifting 10 lbs. I am 14 and lifting 35 lbs. You need to at most minuscule lift 25 lbs. If that didn't motivate you I don't know what will.
dude that is not adequate! You need like 20-25 pounds at smallest and work your way up. To keep your self going listen to music, it will gross it seem less boring. or bring a friend beside you to excercise your 19 and only lifting 10 lbs. I am 14 and lifting 35 lbs. You need to at most minuscule lift 25 lbs. If that didn't motivate you I don't know what will.
Answers: Alright man,
Drop the 10 pounders, and boost up to 20s. If you can do 4 sets of 20 reps on both arms...(i'm guessing you are doing arm curls contained by a sitting up position), you can do a lot more.
Doing lots of reps is nice, but they don't increase your mass. You need to rebel your body to higher limits within order to see better results.
Get a set of 20 or 25s and do your sets with lower reps. Like 2 sets of 10 on respectively arm. To keep your body from adjusting to your contemporary routine, mix up the workout. Instead of doing curls sitting up, do curls standing, do curls on a medicine ball.
Work not one and only your biceps, but your triceps as well(with your 10 pound dumbells to begin with).
As for motivation, with results come more motivation. Give every rep a slow and fluid motion, don't breeze by them next to the smallest amount of effort. You have to isolate the muscle you are trying to bulk up on, so don't cheat and put your posterior into it either.
Protein shakes and bars are a well brought-up fuel as well.
Good luck
get a 20 lb . you will see results because 10lbs is not ample for a 19 yr old.
