??is bipolar a duration time disease?

I'm afraid I do not agree with any of the answers except 'alexwind' who suggested making it work for you as others have.

I don't believe here is a 'lifetime' anything, unless you buy into it or feel you are controlled by it...unfortunately several identify themselves with 'illness' and feel the involve to label themselves and others. Not saying to "not" agreement with your current level of emotional/physical vigour, acknowledge it of course. But how about choosing to see how you can benefit from where on earth you are right now and continue to discharge attention to the things you want for yourself instead of what doesn't work. Then you have a lifetime of what to look forward to, instead of a label and adjectives that goes with it.
Yes, but it can be treated, and you can live a normal life next to this illness... just be overt to treatment and have a support system lined up- and enjoy someone who's got legal authorization to have you hospitalized if it's ever necessary. It's a process but you can live customarily. I'm afraid I do not agree with any of the answers except 'alexwind' who suggested making it work for you as others have.

Yes, it is. My friend is bipolar.
That would be correct. It's a chemical inequity that you have to live with forever, but a psychiatrist can prescribe you mood stabilizers so you won't hold episodes of mania or depression. Yes, it is. My friend is bipolar.
Answers:    I'm afraid that it is..I suffer from bipolar disorder myself. It can be hell having to deal beside episodes of mania and depression, but doctors can prescribe mood stabilizers and antidepressants to help you near that. If you do not want to be on medications like that, near are some herbal remedies that you can try...

Once you are stabilized, you will be able to deal beside things better!
