Does Playing Tennis Or Swimming Make You Taller?

I Know I've asked before about rank and growth, but people never really give me an accurate answer. I be 5'8" when I was 14, and now I'm 17 and 8 months antediluvian and I'm 5'9". I want to be atleast 6ft before I'm done growing. I've noticed that alot of tennis players and swimmers are elevated, and I was wondering Does Tennis Or Swimming Make People Taller?

(I know alot of people articulate that its all genetics, and I sord of believe that. My mom is 5'3" and my dad is 5'8" and I'm 5'9", so I'm doin pretty suitable,BUT when I was younger (like 13 years old) my doctor told me I would be between 6' and 6'1" when I was done growing. I don't really do adjectives that much physical activities. I exercise vigorously every once surrounded by a while
(like running on the treadmill and do alot of cardio). I'm usually at home on the comp or watchin tv (yeah I'm a lazy lol). I know alot of people voice that 5'9" is a good height, but I wanna be taller, cuz sometimes I discern self conscious around some of my friends that are 6'- 6'3)
um ive never hear that and i play both for my school and im only 5'0 i dont estimate thats true b/c ive benn the same height and ive be playing tennis for 4 years,:/
im only 13 and im 6'1 and i dont do much sport at adjectives my dad is 6,1 and my mum is 5,5 so i think im gona be like 6,4 or something um ive never hear that and i play both for my school and im only 5'0 i dont estimate thats true b/c ive benn the same height and ive be playing tennis for 4 years,:/
Answers:    No it is all genetics. Now swimming and playing tennis surrounded by some cases I guess keeps kids out of trouble ( drugs and alcohol ) which can stunt your growth
No. Your height is pretty much set when you're born.
