I hold a continuous cough.?

I cough a whole during the night, approaching a choking cough, lcear mucus comes up.

But during the day I have none of this.

what's wrong near me?

Answers:    My son had the same item about a month ago. We took him to a Dr and were prescribed a strong cough syrup and antibiotic.
He said it be most likely a bacterial infection. But my son would only cough at dark not during the day.
