Severe Insomnia-Tried most things please serve (read on)?
Ok lately I've been suffering from insomnia really bad...i simply can't fall asleep at all.
I enjoy a bath, spray sheets with lavender etc and nil works.
I can't have milky drinks as I'm dairy intolerant.
I don't have the tv on or anything and I finally trip up asleep around 3-4am when I have to be up at 7am for the kids.
Any ideas what I can do please...desperate presently.

As long as your are well, try to do a physical activity like walking or running. Get yourself tire physically. It may bear a few days, but if you are tire physically, your body will tell your brain to go to sleep. Also, back you go to bed, don't try to do anything that will stimulate your brain - try something boring, such as a book or magazine that you have no interest on, or find awfully, very boring.
You should try several things before you resource to sleeping pills or other drugs.
First, see your doctor. Insomnia can be caused by oodles types of medical conditions. Once you rule those out, you can try melatonin. I had such bad insomnia that I be sleeping only 20 hours a week. I now see a shrink, and he gave me medicaiton to help (its not sleeping medication, its an antidepressant, but it quiets my mind so I can sleep). The tricky part is determining what is causing the insomnia. In my luggage, it was trauma and PTSD. It may be something like that, or it may a moment ago be that your rythems are messed up for whatever reason. Melatonin will facilitate with that. Good luck, and get some sleep! Are you worried over anything that could course this, you may be suffering from for a moment depression or even anxiety, I was like that a few weeks ago and nil i done helped so i went to my GP and they prescribed me near some tablets to help with anxiety, after taking them for going on for a week i started to sleep better and now i go to bed at a commonplace time and get up at a normal time, that be 5 weeks ago, i hope this helps Prescription - Zoppiclone 5mg should do you max dose 100

Answers: Do not eat in the room where on earth you are going to go to sleep (not even popcorn/snack).
Try to have kids within bed around 8pm
Do not exercise or work on bills, computer, internet after 9:30pm (I even have a hard time near this one sometimes).
Try to get that evening shower within 1 hour of when you intending to sleep (if you win up at 3-4am (me too) you should get to sleep by 10 - the latest)
The trick that worked for me the most - listening to calm music WITHOUT WORDS (the muzak station is not good, because while they are not actually singing - you probably already know the words)
Classical music, that soundscapes cable music vessel (use TVs sleep timer) or world music (outside of your own culture) helped me immensely!!
I no longer have trouble sleeping in this day and age, but when I know I need to get to sleep prompt - I put that music on and I am asleep within 15 minutes.
Try it.
Try watching any of Nick Cannon's so called "movies". That'll put you to sleep...for sure. read a book or magazine lay down in bed
