Achilles ligament?
I have no idea what I did but for yesteryear 2 days my achilles tendon has be creaking...it feels incredibly disgusting. Is this leading to something else or will it alleviate on its own?
I realize I'm going to get some stupid answers because some people lately can't seem to grow up but I'm hoping for a serious one too :) Thanks
Answers: The tendon is 'creaking' because the ligament is swollen and the tendon sheath that surrounds it is very tight around the muscle itself and when it moves back and forth across the tendon, the creaking sensation is feel.
Let me tell you, achilles injuries are very perilous and need to be taken very, severely seriously. This is one injury that can end up ruining your life if it is not treated properly. You involve to take every measure that you involve to in order to pass this injury #1 priority over anything else that if going on in your life if not it might become your life. Take it from me, I'm suffering from an achilles injury that is coming up on 2 years prehistoric and is in a degenerated state and it's means to heal itself has be severly reduced because of scar tissue and improperly heal tissues. You need to act right immediately in doing whatever it is that you are going to do roughly the problem and do it 100%. Don't take any shortcuts or leave any stone unturned or inattention any measure that you need to cart in order to tender this problem full priority. I had a small tear within my achilles and should have used crutches which would have fixed the complete problem. See a doctor if at all possible and let him know that you're outstandingly serious about getting this fixed.
Fortunatley for you, your injury is still very fresh and you involve to act now because there's a glass of opportunity time frame that you need to act in while the injury is still young and in untimely stages is when you have the best opportunity to heal if proper treatment is taken. If you don't tolerate it heal, then the strains that walking can put on it can result in your tendon to end up resembling mine and build scar tissue over and over and prevent healing and eventually lapse up with a big gnarly mess of weak and ineradicably damaged tendon. You may obligation to walk with crutches for a while contained by order to give the muscle that chance to heal. Talk to a doctor and see what he say and if you can't afford a doctor then use the crutches anyway if it does't improve fast. Also you may want to look into heel lifts which take alot of stress bad of the tendon. Please do read my other answers to question going on for achilles by clicking on my profile for alot more about what I have to read aloud about achilles injuries including what I've found to be some good treatments including things nearly massage and icing, both of which sound close to things that would really help your situation along with ibrprofen, and consistency free to email me at wdbwdb111(a)yahoo.com if you have any questions.
Honestly, and I'm not too sure why I'm bothering to answer this, not that it's a discouraging question, but I don't know that you can get any apt answers from a website like this about things approaching that. I mean I guess somebody could have have the same thing transpire so then you might get a honourable answer. Or I suppose there could be doctors that come on here. Anyway, my point is a creaking tendon doesn't nouns very good. It should probably be checked out by a doctor. And plainly telling you to go to a doctor isn't the greatest answer (that's what I intended by saying you probably weren't going to get any devout answers, because just telling to walk to the doctor isn't that great of an answer and I have a feeling that's what most empire will say).
Perhaps you should wait a full week, see if it's still happening, and if it is, see a doc. That's what I tend to do. Sometimes the body can of late be weird and then fix itself. But if it last longer than a week, it probably won't go away and could be serious, so see a doc.
